Let me paint you a picture: you’re driving down a long creepy road that feels straight out of a Jeepers Creepers movie. Trees creeping in, a little too quiet, and your GPS starts glitching—classic horror setup, right? But the moment we pulled into the gates of Simerly Farms in Johnson City, all the creepy movie vibes vanished and were replaced with WOW.
The view? Unreal.
A wide open field with mountain views, fresh country air, and… oh yeah—cows. Lots of cows. Big cows, little cows, curious cows. And of course, cow poop. Everywhere. We spent more time dodging landmines than you’d believe.
Jaylen showed up with that radiant smile and energy that just pulls you right in. Her sweet momma came along too, but stayed back and gave us space—just far enough to watch the magic unfold. ❤️
We laughed. A lot. Like, full-belly, nearly-can’t-breathe kind of laughter. We cracked jokes, posed like goofballs, and even attempted to make friends with the cows. Spoiler alert: we were lowkey terrified… but so were they. You should’ve seen the standoff—we stepped forward, they stepped back. We stepped back, they stepped forward. Mutual fear. Mutual respect.
Somewhere in the chaos, Jaylen threw her shoes and there we were: hunting for them for a solid five minutes, like some weird farm-themed game of hide and seek. We finally found them, and then—of course—walked straight up a massive hill. When I tell you I almost died… I mean, RIP to my calves. 💀
But every second was worth it.
Jaylen’s personality is the kind you don’t forget—bright, bold, and beautiful. Her laughter is contagious, and her smile? Pure sunshine. I swear I could photograph her all day. Her joy was magnetic, and the entire session felt more like hanging out with a best friend than working.
