Sun, Wind, Clouds, and Bugs—Oh My! Addie’s Round Two 🎉


Addie’s second session with me was nothing short of an adventure! When we first pulled up to Spring Creek, I could’ve sworn the sky was about to crack open and rain us out. But nope—Mother Nature had other plans. First, she gave us some HARSH sun (the kind where you squint so hard you’re basically doing face yoga). Then the wind decided to make an appearance—and not a soft, romantic breeze either. We’re talking hang onto your hair or it’s gone kind of wind. And just when we thought we had a handle on things, here came the clouds rolling in all dramatic like they were auditioning for a storm movie.


But listen, I stayed hopeful, because if anyone can slay a session in wild weather, it’s Addie. Her mom and dad came along this time, and let me tell you—Dad was the MVP. Running back and forth to the car for props! Oh, did I mention I didn’t lose my keys this time. At one point, we may or may not have climbed a little hay and frolicked through a field like it was a scene straight out of a country music video. Worth it. Totally worth it.


And then…the OUTFIT. Addie stepped out in this red jumper and I about lost it. GIRL. GO. AHEAD. 🔥 She knows how to bring those statement pieces, and she wears them like she was born for it. We wrapped things up at the Dandridge boat launch, which turned into a bug convention—seriously, it felt like a million of them showed up for her session. But Addie? Totally unbothered. Cool as ever. And the sweetest touch—Mom brought along all her little stuffies, and of course we had to sneak them into some shots. Pure magic.


Round two with Addie? 10/10 recommend. Stormy skies, bug swarms, and all. 🌾📸✨
