Addie — Gorgeous Girl, Golden Light, and One Traumatizing Snake
Alright y’all. Buckle up.
Addie. Senior at Lakeway Christian. Sweet as pie with the prettiest blue eyes you’ve ever seen. Tall, graceful, and down for absolutely anything I threw at her. I mean anything — running through fields, climbing through brush, trekking into what I now refer to as The Snake Zone.
We went to Seven Islands for her senior session — and it was STUNNING. Golden light, wildflowers, open skies… chef’s kiss. We may have sweat a bit (okay, a lot), but Addie was glowing the whole time — total model behavior.
And then. It happened.
We were wrapping up, walking like everything was fine and dandy — when suddenly…
We all stopped. DEAD. In. Our. Tracks.
There it was. A whole. dang. snake. Just chilling like it owned the place. We would have never seen it if it wasn’t for Reagan (bless her soul and her eagle eyes). I’m telling you — we probably would’ve stepped right on it, gotten bitten, and died. Literally died in the wilderness, with my camera clutched in my hand like a cautionary tale.
We screamed. We panicked. I questioned all my life choices. But once we recovered (barely), we laughed and made our way out of there with our lives and dignity mostly intact.
Okay, dramatics are over. Addie is definitely one for the books. Motivated, gorgeous.. I mean COME ON! I can't wait to see her flourish in life!!
