Wedding photographers play a crucial role in capturing one of the most important days of a couple's life. Here are some things to add about wedding photographers:

Creativity:

Wedding photographers must possess a high level of creativity to capture unique and memorable shots. They must have an eye for detail and be able to create images that tell a story and evoke emotions.

Technical expertise:

Wedding photographers need to have excellent technical skills, including knowledge of lighting, exposure, composition, and equipment. They should also have experience with editing software to enhance the final images.

Communication skills:

Photographers should have excellent communication skills to work effectively with the couple and their families. They should be able to understand their needs and preferences and communicate effectively to ensure they are satisfied with the final images.

Flexibility:

Wedding photographers must be flexible and adaptable to different situations that may arise on the day of the wedding. They should be able to adjust their plans quickly and still capture beautiful images in changing circumstances.

Professionalism:

Wedding photographers should have a professional attitude and appearance. They should arrive on time, dress appropriately, and behave respectfully throughout the event.

Experience:

It's important to choose a wedding photographer with experience in shooting weddings. Experienced photographers can provide helpful advice and guidance to the couple and ensure that the day runs smoothly.

Backup equipment:

Professional wedding photographers should always have backup equipment in case of technical issues or malfunctions.

Portfolio:

It's important to review the photographer's portfolio to see if their style aligns with the couple's preferences and to assess the quality of their work.

And Thus..

Overall, choosing the right wedding photographer is essential to capture beautiful, lasting memories of the couple's special day.

Still hesitant - read my frequently asked questions below!

FAQ

How many hours of coverage do I need?

I can't tell you what you need. I can give you suggestions on what I think you would need depending on your wants. If you want most everything covered, I would suggest the 9 hour package. If you want just ceremony and important events, you can get away with 4 hours. Need something in between? Get the 7 hour! Just something short for you? - Ask about the elopement package!

What is a timeline?

It is a custom step by step timeline of your day with portrait events. I provide this by giving you an extensive questionnaire after your final payment is made. I read over all of it and then start customizing your day to fit you. Once complete, we go over it together and then finalize it. You then give to your wedding party so that the day of your wedding -- it's stress free and no one should have to ask you where they need to be and what time.

Do you have experience shooting in all lighting conditions?

Yes, I have all the equipment necessary to perform in any lighting or weather conditions thrown my way.

What happens if your camera quits working?

I am a firm believer in having 2 or more camera bodies present at all times in case anything faulty happens. All experienced wedding photographers should have this down as safe practice as well as dual slot shooting.

Can I have a second shooter?

Of course! If you would like to add a second shooter to your package, I can totally do that at an extra charge.

Do you do film photography?

As of now, I do not. However.. maybe in the future!

Can we count on you to be there?

OF COURSE! I wouldn't and couldn't miss it for the world. And, I am an early bird. So always count on me to be a few minutes early!

DO YOU HAVE A REPLACEMENT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN CASE YOU BECOME UNAVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT?

This has never happened, but yes.. in case something god like were to happen - I will have someone there for you. Pinky Promise!

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU TYPICALLY BRING WITH YOU ON THE DAY-OF?

Equipment needs vary pretty wildly from one wedding to the next. But I always prepare (for everything in life) by packing way more stuff than I expect to need. And then when I think I have everything I could possibly need, I pack some more. From lighting, 2 bodies, 5 different lenses and then some! I am prepared to take on the world...wedding I meant!

When will our wedding photos be ready?

Typically - my galleries are out within 6-8 weeks! Proofs online will be dropped within 2 weeks. Keep an eye for those sneak peaks!

Do you require a retainer?

Yes, I do! Your retainer holds your spot for your big day! I require $500 and the remaining amount is due 1 month prior to your wedding day.
