Emma, Emma, Emma!!
She’s one of my 2026 senior influencers from Lakeway Christian Academy, and photographing her was a total dream. We met out at Colley Hill in Dandridge, and the lighting was straight-up perfection — golden and glowy and all the magic I hope for every session.
Now, we were supposed to do this session a little earlier… but someone decided to take a little trip to Hawaii instead.
Did she take me?
Absolutely not.
Still recovering, honestly!
But once we finally got to shoot, it was 100% worth the wait. Her boyfriend came along at the beginning of the session and jumped into a few photos with her, which I loved. You can tell they’re close — sweet and effortless — and it helped Emma ease into the shoot right from the start.
Emma has this soft, wispy vibe that just photographs beautifully. She’s gentle and calm, but also full of personality once she opens up. She brought her puppy along too, and oh my gosh — what a little character. Total goofball, and completely adorable in the photos.
One of the moments that stuck with me most was when Emma pulled out her Bible. We used it in a few shots, and those ended up being some of my absolute favorites. They felt honest and peaceful and so full of meaning. I love when seniors bring something personal that really reflects their heart.
And y’all — here’s the coolest part. Emma wants to become a pilot.
Her dad is a pilot, and she’s already got flight hours under her belt. I mean… come on. That’s the kind of dream-chasing energy I live for. This girl is going places — literally.
Emma, you were such a joy to photograph. You brought intention, sweetness, and a whole lot of light to your session, and I’m so thankful to have you on my 2026 team. So excited to see what’s ahead for you — and if you ever need a passenger once you’re flying high, I am your wing woman! Get what I did there?!
