She walked into her session with that low-key, mellow energy. She’s not about the spotlight, she’d rather chill in the background—but even then, you feel her presence. The type of girl that doesn’t say much, but when she does? You’re listening.
One thing about Blakely? She understood the assignment. Her 90’s-themed look was a whole mood. Throwback jerseys, all the vibes, and then that Death Row Records chain—yep, straight off her dad - but shhhhh, it was needed! AND if you know, you know. Tupac over Biggie—always. No debate. 🔥
She’s more than just a pretty face and killer style though. She hoops for the Jefferson County girls’ varsity basketball team and absolutely loves the game. She is the only senior on the team this year - which probably carries a lot of weight. I believe she will handle herself on the court this year like she handles herself in life—quietly, confidently, and with purpose.
And let’s talk about how she’s filling a real gap in the beauty world: Blakely does hair for young black women—something we all know is so needed. She’s got talent, patience, and a clear eye for style. She hasn’t nailed down her cosmetology school yet, but when she does? They better be ready for her. She’s coming in hot.
Also—small world bonus—her grandfather is the guy who keeps my air conditioning running every summer. So you already know the family is solid.
