Gracie + Isaiah | Chateau Selah Wedding
Oh my goodness, Gracie and Isaiah’s wedding. Where do I even start?! This was one of those days where everything just clicked—the people, the place, the colors, the laughs, the love. Truly, chef’s kiss.
First, let’s talk venue. Chateau Selah. If you haven’t been, stop what you’re doing and go Google it. Jaw. Dropping. The views are the kind that make you stop mid-step just to say, “WOW.” (Yes, I did that. Twice.) The building itself has this charm that feels like it was made for weddings, and every little detail inside and out is just begging to be photographed.
Now let’s talk about the vibe. Gracie and Isaiah chose the most perfect colors—happy yellow paired with soft blue. Sunshine + sky = perfection. Bright but soft. Happy but elegant. Basically, if a summer day could be bottled up into a wedding, this was it. And their bridal party? Oh, let me tell you. Gorgeous, fun, and had energy for days. I was laughing with them one second and saying “Okay, but model faces now” the next. These people could’ve walked a runway, then hopped off and hit the dance floor. My kind of crowd.
I have to stop and brag on the vendor team too, because wow—this was a group of all-stars. Candy, their planner, was on it all day. Everything ran so smoothly, I almost forgot how hectic weddings usually are. She had it handled. Felty Roland Florist knocked it out of the park with the flowers—seriously, I don’t know how florists make bouquets look like magic, but they do. The colors, the textures, the way it tied the whole vision together… perfection.
Then we had beauty—Allison Jeffries with Moxie & Mane on hair, and Destiny Henson (@destinyhesonbeauty) on makeup. Absolute dream team. Every bridesmaid looked like they stepped out of a Pinterest board, and Gracie… oh, Gracie. She was glowing. Soft, radiant, princess vibes through and through.
And speaking of princess vibes—her dress. Vow’d. Need I say more? It fit her like it was made just for her. She looked like she was born to wear it. I literally gasped when she came out in it. (I’m not ashamed.)
The reception? Two words: DJ Pbro. Preston had the place absolutely alive. People were on the dance floor all night long, and I may or may not have found myself bopping along while holding my camera. (Don’t worry, still professional, but listen… when the hits drop, they drop.) And when guests needed a sugar break, Creamy Cup saved the day with the sweetest treats. Energy restored. Dance floor reloaded.
But honestly, none of this compares to Gracie and Isaiah themselves. These two have been together since high school, and you can see it in the way they look at each other. It’s steady. It’s sweet. It’s the kind of love that’s grown through every season of life, and now here they were, promising forever. I had the honor of photographing their proposal, their engagement session, and now their wedding. To be trusted with their story from start to “I do”? That’s the kind of thing that makes me pinch myself.
The whole day felt like them. Sweet, warm, welcoming, joyful, a little bit funny, and a lot of fun. From teary-eyed vows to dance floor shenanigans, it was exactly what a wedding should be.
Gracie and Isaiah, I adore you both. Your day was as beautiful as your love, and I feel so lucky I got to capture it all. Thank you for letting me in on the biggest moments of your life—I’ll be cheering you on forever. Here’s to all the chapters still to come.
