Logan & Kyler | From Houma to the Foothills
Okay but seriously—how in the WORLD do I keep getting the absolute best couples?! Logan & Kyler came all the way from Houma, Louisiana for their engagement session, and y’all… it was a whole vibe from the start.
We met up at Foothills Parkway, which you already know is one of my favorite places to shoot—those mountain views never disappoint. When they first arrived, I was off in my own little world catching up (ahem… chatting away) with some of my fellow photographer friends who were waiting on their own elopement session. I was mid-chatter when I texted them to let me know when they arrived! Low and behold... they were there the whole time! 😅 They were just chillin’, patiently waiting for me to wrap it up!
Logan is super laid back—like, the “nothing ruffles my feathers” kind of energy. And Kyler? He’s a little quieter, but that guy giggles a lot. The way they interact is so effortless, like puzzle pieces that just click. They’ve got that kind of love that doesn’t have to be loud to be felt—it just is. And you can feel it from a mile away.
Also… can we talk about the accents?! My soul felt so at home. We bonded real quick over our mutual love for GOOD food (because hello, Louisiana food is elite), and I was straight up in my feelings about missing the food from back home. Like… someone pass the gumbo and crawfish étouffée already.
They’re getting married right here in the Smokies in October 2026, and I already know it’s going to be a full-on party. Like, y’all aren’t ready. I can see it now—we are going to be CUTTING UP. Good food, good vibes, and a couple who is as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside? Count me ALL the way in.
